1798 Walk

The Battle of Horetown took place just 1.5km from the village of Foulkesmill and Mill Farm Cottages. This walk is signposted, walkers passing Horetown House on route where the cavalry camped out overnight waiting on the insurgents to attack. There is a mass graveyard at the Cross of Stoneen - marked along the route.
